Donations
100% of monetary donations given to BackUkraine will go toward the support of Ukraine, as outlined in our Ways to Help page.
Donations of any amount are accepted and are not subject to tax. Donations can be made by either credit card (processed through PayPal), or by a PayPal account. You do not need a PayPal account to donate.
Security
All transactions, including credit card purchases without a PayPal account, are processed through PayPal. PayPal is one of the world’s most secure online payment tools. At no point will any person(s) with BakcUkraine be able to view your entire credit card or account information. Donating money is similar in terms of security and handling as purchasing a song on iTunes.
PayPal uses encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect your credit card information. Upon entering the checkout page your computer will begin communicating with the PayPal server in a secure mode. You will be able to tell that you are in a secure mode because the URL prefix in the web address in your browser will say “https” instead of “http”.
BackUkraine owns and operates the following URL domains:

The ONLY email addresses acknowledged, operated, and owned by BackUkraine are those ending in the following:
- @BackUkraine.com
- @BackUkraine.org
All other users of the “BackUkraine” name are in violation of copyright, and should not be trusted. Under NO circumstance should you ever give any personal information intended for BackUkraine to an entity using a domain name or email address that is not mentioned herein.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

This document is effective as published on BackUkraine.com at any given time. BackUkraine reserves the right to modify this document, or any aspect of this site, at our discretion. If we decide to change our Terms and Conditions, we will post those changes here. We encourage you to visit this section of our site regularly in order to remain informed of any changes. Changes to this document become effective the date they are posted to this site. Changes to this document made after your donation do not affect said donation.
Refunds
Refunds can be requested within 48 hours of the donation. To request a refund simply contact donate@BackUkraine.org within this period. The entirety of your donation amount will be refunded to your account or credit card within 2-7 business days, depending on your carrier.
